The FlowTrace Range from Nutribio has been formulated as a solution to the trace element deficiencies identified in forages based on the latest scientific research and within EU guidelines.

FlowTrace Iodine and Selenium can be supplied to both cattle and dairy cows at all times of the year and is especially suited to the grazing herd.

Selenium plays a role as an antioxidant in optimising the immune system by protecting white blood cells from toxic by-products knows as oxidants. Iodine is primarily required for the synthesis of hormones by the thyroid gland which regulates metabolism. Iodine also plays a role in preventing goiter in nursing calves and minimising foetal reabsorption.

Iodine and Selenium work in conjunction with one another and play key roles in a healthy immune system. Selenium helps to convert Iodine from its stored inactive form to its active form.

FlowTrace Selenium and Iodine is available in powdered form (18kg packs (6 x 3kg)) and is administered via the animals drinking water.

The recommended usage period is three weeks before and ten weeks after the commencement of the breeding period for dairy and suckler cows and at times of known trace element deficiencies for cattle.

Key Features:

  • Tried and trusted range
  • Convenient and easy to administer
  • Ideal accompaniment to a grass based production system

Also available in the FlowTrace Range are Fertility 6++ (Se, I, Co, Cu, Zn and Mn) and Copper and Zinc (separately).
